Albacore is an oily fish from the tuna family. It is in great demand in the Japanese market for its raw consumption, as well as in Spain, where a multitude of canned products are made from its flesh.
It is one of the most highly prized fish because of the delicate flavour of its meat, which in season has unequalled nuances.

Hispania Alta-Mare SL. has received FEMP aid for Participative Local Development in fishing and aquaculture areas, co-financed 85% by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and 15% by the Regional Government of Andalusia, for the creation of a plant for the processing and storage of fishery products.
